One year ago, at the Biltmore Cabaret, The Nautical Miles released their album Ode to Joy.

Today, the Miles (consisting of members Corbin Murdoch (vocals, guitar), Timothy Tweedale (slide guitar, vocals), Simon Rotheisler (bass, vocals) and Lucas Schuller (drums, vocals) are celebrating their 10 year anniversary at the Russian Hall.

Unbelievable that such a talented band have been writing such gorgeous tunes for a decade, yet by some standards, are still an somewhat unknown band of indie status.

That is changing, though, by speed with which tickets to this show sold out. Also featuring Khari Wendell McClelland, and stage lighting by Kyla Gardiner and engineering by Marc L’Esperance, the local talent is bursting at the seams.

Congratulations, Nautical Miles!
