In 2015, the Vancouver Queer Film Festival (VQFF) asked VANDOCUMENT to photograph the festival. They liked us so much they brought us back for 2016!
We were asked to focus on these Q & A’s, galas, performances, cocktail receptions, and dance parties:

We saw some amazing films, met many of the team and volunteers, and had a brilliant time.

About the Vancouver Queer Film Festival
“For 28 years, Out On Screen has proudly showcased films that illuminate the transformative moments in the lives of queer people – telling stories of the journeys we have taken to find ourselves, each other and our place in the world. Every time we take a seat at the Festival, we are experiencing the difference we are making: creating social change through film, education and dialogue.”
Thank you, Emma Tarver and the VQFF team, for having us as part of your inspiring festival. We look forward to many more years of strength through community support.
