Vancouver dance artist Kelly McInnes has teamed with musician Ben Brown and international musical sewing artist Lisa Simpson to create Mine Agente, an unique piece “which explores and magnifies our society’s consumerist, materialistic culture using what we wear as the main focus.”
McInnes has been working on ‘mine‘ in different capacities for the past two years.
Mine Agente also features dancers Rianne Svelnus, Sophia Wolfe, Jessica Wilkie and Kaitey Desante.
Keep an eye out for our video documentation of Mine Agente‘s performance at Merge, which happened the night after their Emily Carr performance.
