With a playful title like Lazy Susan, unlike so many pretentious undergrad group show titles (hell, mine was “Flux” – ha!), the world was wide open with possibilities about the range and quality of work that would be seen.
This was by far one of the most fresh showings of undergrad work to be seen recently in Vancouver. Installation, photography, video projection, fabric, plexiglass. This group showed a curiosity for material, and a strength in idea execution that bodes well for the school and these grads’ futures.
